The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HPD) says the State Department of Tourism (SDOT) has issued an advisory to travelers about travel to the Hawaiian Islands.
The advisory, which has been circulating among SDOT employees, advises travelers to stay away from the following destinations: The Big Island of Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Big Island and Maui.
HPD says the advisories were first issued in late April.
Travelers should contact SDOT for details.
