LANCE TRUCKS, a luxury travel trailer brand that offers trailer travel trailers for rental in Alaska, announced a deal Monday to bring the vehicles to New York City, and now has a few thousand of them available for lease on Airbnb.
“It’s the first time we’ve opened a trailer program for NYC,” said Jason Lorne, president of Lance Transportation.
“We’re bringing our trailers to NYC because we think that we have the perfect mix of amenities to make our guests feel like they are staying at home, and then they can actually enjoy the Airbnb experience, which is the ultimate luxury vacation experience.”
The trailers, which are available to rent in Manhattan and Brooklyn, are equipped with the company’s Lance travel suite, which provides guests with everything from a private bedroom with a private bathroom, a private laundry room, a kitchenette and a large private kitchen, as well as private cabanas with their own private bedrooms.
“Lance is going to be launching the first trailer program in New York,” said Lorne.
“This is really about giving guests the ability to have a great time in NYC without paying an arm and a leg.”
He added, “We want to make sure that our guests can enjoy this luxury experience at a low cost.”
The trailer’s prices start at $1,500 a day and increase from there.
“People can choose between a 2-day, 2-night or a 3-day rental,” said Lance Transportation President Jason Lathan.
“They can choose from different levels of amenities, and we’ve got great amenities for everyone.”
The company has also announced plans to introduce an all-inclusive luxury hotel package in New Jersey starting in late 2019.
The company’s website says, “LANCE TROUTER’S MOST COMMONLY SELECTED RV” and the trailers feature a spacious private cabin, a large bathroom, private bathtub, and a private kitchen.
The prices for the trailer range from $3,500 to $9,000 a day.
“For our New York customers, the rental package will offer an additional luxury amenities, including a private guest bedroom with private bathroom and private bathroom shower, and private laundry rooms and kitchens,” the site says.
“A private kitchenette with private kitchen will also be included.
This will be a luxury option that will be available to guests who wish to use this unique luxury package.”
